I had that big ugly red Zodiac watch for a bit and listed it for sale locally. Took a day until I got a trade offer and I got this gorgeous Laco Augsburg flieger:
Gave the Zodiac and added 60eur, I walked out feeling like I robbed the dude. Sapphire glass, Miyota auto movement, genuine leather strap, made in Germany. Love it so far
Just a simple Rambler in grenadill with slots. For some reason, you can't buy Ramblers in Serbia so I had to have this shipped to me and return it with finished scales... The only 58mm you can get here is the Classic
Now this is a bit different. This customer wanted a Classic with custom engraving to commemorate a hiking trip in March this year:
111mm Outrider in kingwood (left) and Hunter in Canadian walnut (right). I accidentally left the knot on the walnut and it came out great, to my surprise
I have a friend who has a friend (of course) who goes to Cuba every other month to smuggle in a suitcase full of Cuban cigars. So I get a box for free every now and then
There is a 85mm SAK with a cigar cutter, in fact I've rescaled a few. That's what I'll do next, since I have a couple more sides from the cigar box which I can use. To be honest, the wood is crap. Really soft, and definitely just for show. One good drop to a harder surface and they would crack like nothing. Yet somehow, people can't get enough of these - this one was sold before I even finished it...
I had an order for five 111mm Hunters recently. I picked up five of these as a bundle locally and one guy randomly asked to take all five - I had to oblige.
Got a Tactile Turn Slider last week. It writes real gud and carries nicely in my Skinth. Better than the TiBolt it replaces. Maybe not as sturdy but it's a pen, not a prybar.
Here it is with the rest of my old gear. First thing that's changed in long while.
You have horrible handwriting, but I didn't expect anything else from a man
