After, which he wasn't really fond of, but it worked out. He just had to make a mold for the SAK (basically cut out the shape in two pieces of cardboard, glued them together), so he places the SAK in the mold which holds it in place in the engraving machine. Really precise guy, my kinda fellow
I won't take credit for this, as I saw the idea on Pinterest (or something similar, I don't go to Pinterest). This is a Victorinox Stubby Sentinel mod. The basic idea is to cut off about a third of the handle and blade, reshape it and make it into a smaller knife.
I marked and cut the scale and blade, cut them off with an angle grinder, then used a belt sander to shape them. I also had to regrind the blade as you can only buy OHT Sentinels here with a serrated blade. I inserted a small backspacer below the backspring in order for the lock to work properly without failing. The backspacer and the scales are made out of rosewood burl.
