Yep, Peak Logan with a Mule head (absolutely no throw; pure, brilliant flood!) with a Nichia 219 CRI emitter. Got it for photography; working on a way to jerry-rig a mount for it on my mini tri-pod. As for EDCing, a Mule-type light is great for a dark house: no tight spot of light forcing you to swivel it around: it just illuminates a room. And the Peak variable brightness means you can keep your moonlight vision.

Haha, funny meeting you here
But you do? Because some advice would be awesome. I've been looking at the Powertraveller Powermonkey Extreme myself, would you happen to have it & can you recommend it?
I need something that is able to charge my tablet, GPS, and phone (& a quantum DD, ). & lets just assume I need it to do that daily for weeks or perhaps even months on end. I'm not too worried about the GPS & phone & can even carry spares for those if needed, but my tablet has a pretty hefty battery (4000mAh) that can't be removed. The Extreme comes with it's own rechargeable battery with a capacity of 9000mAh so that's good, but I'm not sure how long it would take to charge it with the panels that come with it.
For the same price, you could get the kit from REI and it'll come with a flashlight. Plus, if you wait around for a coupon, you can get it for 20 - 30% off. :)
The other option would be to wait around for the roadshows at Costco. It'll come with a Rock Out speaker.
