This first set doesn't show much of my EDC. But it was giving me the shits trying to find the piece. Using a small ratchet to change out comp arm springs, and dropped the bit. Ffffff!
Springs are three small ones on left side. Where could the bit be? Under the machine? I wonder..
Took a while. And this shot was just to see if I could show it with the crappy phone cam. Didn't originally find it like this.
What a catch! Found it while otherwise buttoning the machine up, at a glance.

Work EDC. Just tools but now they are MUCH less likely to be left inside a machine. Guys won't walk off with them either. And no female mechanics currently on the rolls.

Guess it's EDC. Not really as fancy as the bladed implements above though. Couldn't find this type in American assembled. Red Wings but Chinese assembled? Ugh. Next time I'm going to look at Danners first but I needed boots ASAP. Old ones just about torn through.
Only other thing lately would be the Spyderco Sage 3 with blue G10. Thing slices pretty nicely. No pics yet.

That's a nice bright green. Been looking for something like that. All I've seen from Spyderco lately are dark or foliage greens.
Too bad it's hawkbill and USN branded. Too scary looking as a gifted knife and well, not on USN.
(Yes, I know, same knife as above. It's hard to put down. Plus I can't find my Domino right now.) But, see the twinkle in its eye? That's job security!
All cut up. Can't have the garbageman tripping. OSHA will thank me later!
I thought it was a knife light. So close to matching his profile pic perfectly.
It actually looked like a knife light. But my bad photography (one handed trying to focus a touchscreen phone camera ugh) didn't let me pull the look off.
Is that a flashlight mounted on a vacuum cleaner? Not only does EDB have an awesome job, he's also clever as fuck. Now if you tell me you're also Vin Diesel handsome, I will be very depressed and envious
It's a flashlight mounted on an overhead (on rails) vac system. Big ass blue-green Italian made vacuums.
The job calls for removal & vacuuming of the panels to inspect for debris that would indicate wear of components. The lightvac gets it done in a fraction of the time, simply because the bearing, pulleys and belts all leave distinctive coloured piles of dust (rust, black & green respectively). As compared to regular old dust.
Thanks ma brotha. I'm sure the rest of the crew will pitch in once they get their heads out of their asses. I'll see what I can get together (I ain't working, gang) and message you later.
I've been working some crazy hours. Plus side jobs. Don't leave me out of any convo if you start one! Would like to contribute.
Chong - you will need to be looking for this next week.
Estimated delivery between Thursday, Feb. 26 and Tuesday, Mar. 3
So now that Chong is getting this, anyone care to assist in this endeavor.
Did you do a one person dogpile? Is there a convo going on in the background I missed out on. Been inactive a while, lack of new stuff and work schedule keeps changing.
Willy, In the beginning, I only wanted to make a few of them. At times, my patience with this project runs thin... doing the same thing over and over.
When you say grinder, do you mean like an HF special? Grinding wheel? Cause I've been working nights for a while pullin in extra dough. If it would help you along, maybe we set something up.
