The only problem with Jon is his customer service is too good. Can you name any other vendor that would refund charges and send you the goods anyways? That's excellent customer service but very bad for a business' bottom line.
Being loosely based on the TL-29. Same style two-blade, except the other blade is a saw instead of a wire stripper. Will take a few other pics tomorrow.

I had these ones tuff toed. My last pair lasted less than a year before some goon ran over my foot. The boot did its job, no harm to my foot, but the leather was torn down to the cap. Had to replace them. These should last considerably longer.
Older pic. They're all scarred up now. Still very comfortable.

Picked up an STR-EK from STR with my order of a lowrider clip for my Spydie Domino. Asked him for a few pieces of titanium scrap so I could practice anodizing. Didn't know he was going to throw in this many.
I guess after looking at your chart it would be a Taper Grind. Doc S, will be getting a chisel grind
Flat is good, taper is better! Feel free to let me know if/when funds are needed for the handle materials. And no worries on speed of completion, don't think this place is run like a sweatshop just yet.
Made a little progress but, looks like i will need a grinder to clean these up before heat treat. Some of them came out a little Rough.
No need to apologize SD. The best things take time. Especially if the cost stays close to your estimate. No complaints. Looking good so far. Shut up and take my money!
Oh, have you ordered any (more) of the handle materials yet? Was looking at colors. Not sure how purple would look, but black is always a good pick.

Alright. This isn't from the mail but it's related to the mail I guess.
It's a DBCS from work. Learning to swap all the belts out today. When I removed them, the machine's backplate (probably aluminum) shows a rather large groove. It's from millions of letters wearing down the backplate. I say millions because yesterday this machine processed 90,000 letters, and it has been in service at least ten years.
Got a solid Ti ring in the mail today. No pics yet. Wondering if I should try to anodize it to something nearing brass coloration.
I sold my techno, but I looked I looked into this when i had it. If i remember right the issue was the stop pin. It would be right in the way of the flipper.
Couldn't you just lower the flipper or move it down a bit? Or is it necessary to be as high as possible for leverage, or ergonomics while the knife is deployed? So many questions. Wondering if it would make the Techno butt ugly now.

willy, are you doing these out of a need to carve? Or would sending the design (once finalized) to bam for cutting be feasible? It's looking good either way.
