Too bad that thing is so heavy, it does look like a real workhorse.
That chopper in the pic I quoted, how much does it weigh & is it any good?
I have an Elk Ridge knife which sheath won't close with the knife inserted so I'm a little weary about that brand
The sheath of mine doesn't look that high quality either and I wouldn't be surprised if it won't last long
However, I am very impressed with the performance of that little hatchet, it came very sharp out of the box, it has good ergonomics and is perfect for making kindlings - that all while weighting next to nothing 323g w/o and 354g w sheath
However, due to the size and the weight I wouldn't try to cut down a 100 year old oak with it
I'll load up a pic for size comparison in the hatchet/machete thread
