I finally got everything together to do a little overview of my gear.
Back row from left to right:
- tent, Vango Force Ten Helium 200, 1300 gram incl. poles
- air matras, Thermarest Neoair All Seasons large, 730 gram
- sleeping bag (down, 3 seasons), Sea to Summit TKII 1050 gram
- Solo Stove & cooking pot
- fishing kit (rod, wheel & everything else I need)
Mid row:
- tent poles + pegs (MSR Groundhogs, 6")
- Sea to Summit foldable plate, 1L Nalgene bottle, eating utensils, little cat-shaped brush (for general cleaning)
Front row:
- rain gear (pants & jacket)
- silk sleeping-bag liner
- foldable 10L kitchen sink/bucket from Sea to Summit
Back row from left to right:
- spare glasses
- little translation book to help me communicate with Swedes
- UCO candle lantern + spare candles
- GPS
- pouch with all kinds of handy stuff to repair things, make fire & whatnot
- pouch & plastic baggy with first aid stuff
The rest wasn't properly put in rows in hindsight, so I'll just sum it up:
- Spyderco Bushcraft
- Mora Companion
- little skinner knife (Wilder Forge necker)
- Bahko Laplander
- stropping paddle
- Falkniven DC4
- titanium flaks for booze
- working (safety) gloves
- ziplock-baggie with oily rag to keep my knives clean & lubricated
- Victorinox Bakers knife
- padded gear sling
- Skinth with Victorinox Swisstool, Olight S10 & a bunch of stuff I forgot to take out
- Samsung Galaxy Tab (phone, tablet, ebooks & whatnot)
- pair of small binoculars
- Thermarest Neoair pump-sak (doubles as a waterproof stuffsack for my spare clothes)
& all packed up & ready to go in my Deuter Aircontact 55+10 totaling at 14,4kg:
Items not shown in pics:
- SAS survival guide (forgot it)
- book about edible plants (still need to pick one)
- tinder-bag (work in progress)
- 3L Geigerrig water bladder + filter (forgot it)
- Katadyn Pocket water filter (still need to buy it)
- Powermonkey Extreme (solar charger + 9000mAh battery, same as above)
- a whole lot of rope
- food/herbs & spices
The total weight of all the items I want to take would be right around 15,5kg, which is just to heavy for me (I'm only 5'8"/62kg) considering I still have to add food & water, so I'm looking to loose about 4LBS right now unless I can muscle up in the few months I have left before I'll take off.
Ill keep you guys posted
