EDC Flashlight replacing a Fenix PD30

Hi guys,
I owened a Fenix PD30 for some years until it stopped working. From then on I looked for another flashlight to replace it.
What I want it to be? Made of aluminum, not bigger than the PD30 so it fits properly in any back pocket, a clip is required to hold it there. Those 300lm have always been enough for everyday use. It should be dimmable, or at least switching to some low power mode.
First thing I did was looking up some other flashlights such as Fenix PD32, PD35, PD31, Nitecore TN12 etc. Since I really liked the size and feeling of that PD30, those - exept the PD31 - looked to long, as well as I was a big fan of that end switch/rotating concept. So I could not decide which to buy or not.
Probably someone remembers those Mini Maglites. I got an AA one. A friend recommeded me a producer for LED conversion kits which still works pretty well, but it's not dimmable, as well as it is bigger than I want it to be. Hm.
So till now this may seem kind of confused, because everyone is gonna say, just get this PD31 and be happy, but there is my question: is there any other flashlight really worth thinking about? Probably there is someone out there who owns some of the mentioned to compare usability and size to the PD30? Would appreciate that.

also from Germany! Well I carry mostly a EagleTac D25A 2014 Limited Edition Titantium, for me it´s a perfect flashlight for the EDC so far.
