Got a little prybar from Sears for five or six, and subjected it to the hacksaw first thing. Cut the bent end off, then rounded the cut a little with a file.
What I ended up with was a 4 1/2 by 1/2 prybar that fits in my cheapo pocket organizer.
Oh. And my Shard. I'm not a fan of Gerber tools, but the Shard is damn handy! Hangs on my keyring, jingles, and works wherever I need more force than fingertips alone can apply. Just yesterday, I used it in place of a fid, and it worked very well. Until I lost my patience, and started cutting the ropes, anyway.

The military barely uses P38's anymore. They come packaged in the bulk meals that the cooks get out in the field, but that's about it. And the cooks 99% of the time have normal can opener, so the P38's usually go in the trash. I've never actually seen one used as a prybar in the military. Mostly because I've never seen somebody in the military use one in conjunction with military duty. All of our stuff comes in thick plastic bags instead of cans nowadays, so they're pretty uncommon.
Yeah-I meant to say used. I would think that the military nowadays can get those countycomm bars if they wanted, and I do know about the modern mre's. I guess that's why they're all pretty much a civilian market and edc/survival/outdoors fans.
(About Q's package) Willydigger:
"Is it mailed? Did you mail it? Where's the tracking? I'm pretty excited. I hope he cries. Think he'll cry? What a bitch."
"Q is an asshole, but he's so dumb I feel like hugging him all the time."

"I'm waiting for Digiorno to cook. Three meat, stuffed crust. It's not delivery, but no place delivers here. So. "

Uhm, pics? Pleeeeease?
Patience, Miss. Patience. Uploading photos requires relatively more effort for me, and I tend to do a couple at a time, roughly every three or four months. I'll try to be a little more prompt this time, because I like your guitars very much .

Patience? Patience? :frantic: :frantic: :frantic: Who is that 'Patience' everybody keeps speaking about? :-S
I have a Shard I just got and for which I have no need. Anyone wants it, PM me your address. It'll go slow and cheap, but it'll get to you for free. Also, if you buy seemingly ANY EDC-type stuff on Amazon, they will throw in a Shard for $3 (how I got mine).
