Alright, have a couple pen blanks glued up waiting to be squared and turned. New kit and I have already tweaked one to fit a Fisher only, I think. Took measurements between the Parker and Fisher and shortened the brass tube accordingly. Both will be cocobolo, I think it's cocobolo, was in the bottom of the wood drawer.
Thinking on this size, if I get more of them and start offering them up for sale, probably about $35 shipped priority. I did screw up on the Parker sized and didn't trim it quite enough as had to put a small steel BB behind the refill to get it to stay. But, I think it was less than 1/16" off and it will write without the small ball. I used a bead off a bead chain.
I guess this counts as stuff. Found a junk blade that had a pretty good flaw in it. It was a blade I kept around to mess around with and possibly get heat treated.
Should look familiar. Wish I could get the rest of them to finish.
I have the time to mess around now and working on the room. Only have this one junk blade, but it should still be able to heat treat and make serviceable.
How many people actually sent funds for the forum knife? I seen Tiller, Diggs, EDB, and wjruth. Considering playing around with some O1 and designing a fixed blade now I have more free time to play around in the shop. And an actual shop again.

ME! I did!
(About Q's package) Willydigger:
"Is it mailed? Did you mail it? Where's the tracking? I'm pretty excited. I hope he cries. Think he'll cry? What a bitch."
"Q is an asshole, but he's so dumb I feel like hugging him all the time."

"I'm waiting for Digiorno to cook. Three meat, stuffed crust. It's not delivery, but no place delivers here. So. "

Guess that means 5 so far that sent Chong funds.
But, got the chunk of O1 today!! Need to cut out the blades and shape them. See how much work it's actually gonna be. Figure .187" should make a nice stiff little EDC blade. Need to decide on handle scales, as well. Something simple for the first attempt. And an etch template. Maybe the emoji
Got the design transferred to the steel. Looks like I have enough for four or five fixed blades with enough left to attempt a dashi. I know, Marko makes the best ones, but I want to try one myself. Going to see if I can use a coworker's band saw to rough them out tonight after work. But, have been thinking, maybe 3/16" thick O1 is a bit overkill for a small fixed blade. For everyone except Shortie. All my small fixed blades are 1/8" give or take a couple thousandths. We'll see what I think when I get them roughed out and in hand.
Ended up using an angle grinder to rough out the dashi. Will grab my hacksaw or sawzall and see about cutting a couple of the others out a night this week. Thinking of grinding this weekend if I can get some cut and rough shaped.
A little progress. Top is the shape I was thinking on for the fixed blade. Bottom is my take on a useful kiridashi. Handle end has a pry end. I'll need to get the Kydex sheath design right for it to make the pry end useful.
Some hand sanding yesterday at work and it has a fair satin finish. Four day weekend and I hope to finish at least one of them. Hoping to get the bevels on the little fixed blade if I can rig up a jig.
Well dammit. Started the bevels on the first of the fixed blades and halfway through it the damn grinder dies. Guess I need to order another one. So it's going to be a little longer before I get the first one done.
Ordered another little HF 1x30 so I can use the belts I have. Should be here by next weekend. Then, I can finish this one and hopefully the others before it dies. The new one has the 5" disc on the side. Will make shaping handles a lot easier.
