I've been looking for something sturdier then my Mora 120 ever since I messed it up within the first hour of use & I've been checking out a lot of Puukos for this. Budget is a little low at the moment though, but reviews sounded good so I decided to go with the very reasonably priced Ahti Tikka for now:
62mm carbon Laurin blade with a 2,5mm spine & full stick tang. I'm hoping it will also replace my Wilder Necker as my secondary knife as the love for scandi grinds keeps on growing.

Yeah, I've considered & researched it when I was shopping for a bushcraft knife, as well as a few smaller Tops knives, but I decided on the Spyderco Bushcraft instead eventually. The Tops Wolf Pup is still on my 'want-list' though.
It's still a nice knife from a very nice guy that has many purposes -not to mention my first and only non-production knife-, I just want a scandi in that size to play with as well for now. But if that eventually leads to the Wilder becoming completely obsolete you'll be the first I'll contact
Have you had to re-sharpened yours yet? I've tried on my ceramic stones and on the Lansky, but I just can't seem to get it to push-cut paper again like it did when I first got it. At what degree would you estimate the angel of the bevel on yours? It appears to be pretty low on mine, like 25 degrees or so.
I often carry my Ladybug when I'm in sweatpants-mode myself
I've mostly been using the little Wilder as a kitchen knife lately, when I wasn't trying to sharpen it anyway
But I also strap it to the shoulder-strap of my pack when hiking. It isn't really up to cutting wood at the moment, but there's this empty spot on that strap where it just seems to fit just right.
Please have a look if you will, is your edge even over the whole length of the blade btw? Mine is much narrower at the tip of the knife, & a little 'wobbly' near the handle, I think it needs a completely new edge.
