It did the job and was pretty nice overall except for one major annoyance. You have to cycle through each setting to turn it off.
What are some other headlamps that have a simple on/off feature? Preferable inexpensive since it will be occasional use.

Years back, my first headlamp was a Petzl Tikka. It had a simple sliding switch to power on and off. It was rock solid and i loved that thing....i think they discontinued that model...but the new model tikka 2 can be had for around $30 and i THINK it has a button now for operation.
