Ya I have to ship through customs...I hate em...everyone of em ...You do? Well that was one hell of a month to be born in I tell ya...I'll remember that
Their best-selling stove cartridges are cheaper that the removable ones but since I use it more or less spontaneously I like them better. When I dug it out again some time ago there was an old half-full cartridge which still worked after years.
I'm a big fan of these too, I just got a new one last year.
I use it to boil water for my morning coffee when camping & do the rest of my cooking on a foldable bbq like in the last photo. One of those 240 gram canisters lasts me about 20 to 30 days that way.
Here are a few other older and new items I carry in my pack:
My UCO candle lantern. Love this little thing, it not only lights up a tent but also raises the temp a few degrees depending on how long it's on:
My Geigerrig water bladder:
This is the 3 liter version but they also make a 2 liter bladder. The bulb is used to pressurize the system so no sucking is needed, & the little black tube is an optional water filter (filters out bacterias, cyst etc., but no viruses) that goes between the mouthpiece & bladder. I just got the filter as a backup because it was cheap & light, I plan on buying a Katadyn Pocket as my to go to filter soon since it appears to be the most durable one out there right now. I also have a little holder for the bulb but thats strapped on to my pack and I forgot to include it in the picture.
Stonepaw already showed it unpacked but I just wanted to show the pouch my 10 liter ultrasil sink came with:
& this is my pack. I couldn't get a really good picture of it in the darkness that's surrounding me at the moment, so I'll just use a generic web-pic instead:

Oh great now I gotta get me one of those nifty lil things..(foldable bbq) :excellent:
this shopping spree is never going to end
I can totally recommend them, I've been using them for years now. I buy them for 4,95 euro's locally but I've seen them for about the same price on ebay as well. They last about 30 days before the metal starts to wear through, I usually bring two of them when I'm on longer (motorcycle) trips.

It would actually help solve a dilemma he and I have been havin about a big ole fire and a lil gas stove...so now I can have both ...well sorda..I love cookin over a real fire..he wants quick and easy...shame it doesn't last longer but that doesn't seem an unreasonable price for portable and disposable.
You can probably make those bbq's last a lot longer if you take care of it & don't let the fires get too big, perhaps make a nice nylon pouch for it even so it's a bit protected. I normally leave mine out day & night and only clean it when it's time to pack up & head to the next campsite, so mine are exposes to dew, rain & whatnot a lot which can drastically shorten their life-span.
I really like this pack too. It's a bit on the heavy side (2,8kg ish), but it's very comfortable and has a lot of features that make organizing my gear easier.
The back-hugging side:

That looks freakin awesome..the back of mine looks like that also...not nearly that awesome but I love it..fits perfect ..it'll be way to heavy by the time this xmas is over I have a feeling ...been plannin a trip for weeks but life and weather keeps screwin it up ...I found an awesome cliff trail I wanna take up at beaver creek...it's also a biking trail but I'm not that brave?crazy :herpderp:
Yeah, keeping the weight down seems a constant battle
How much do you usually carry? People keep telling me I shouldn't go much over 20% of my bodyweight, but I'm already there with all my gear and I still need to add food & water too
& do you use hiking poles btw? I don't really see the point of those myself but others keep recommending them to me. I figure I'll just make some if I need to cross a river or have to cross uneven terrain.
