Took some pictures of my outdoor cookware I use in the hunting ground from time to time. Need to get me one of those titanium mugs soon since my favorite enamel cup (not pictured) is almost broken. And I forgot a titanium folding Spork I have somewhere.

Knocked down.
That's pretty cool...really like that pot set :yay2:...ohhh and you have one of those lil gas stove thingies ...I think if santa is kind to me I might be gettin one ...woot...how do you like it compared to simply lighting a fire out in the woods.

I love it. It's a pretty old (about ten years) Campingaz Micro (?) and it still works flawless. Really compact and perfect for day trips. I mainly use it for boiling (tea) water, make soups with sausages or other simple dishes (scrambled eggs etc.). IMO this specific model is perfect for backpacking since you can remove the cartridges even if they're not empty and use them later again. You can't do that with most of the bigger camping models.

That is the road block Norse and I keep runnin into. :I..refillable or not ...I say yes...Coleman makes one that you can use simple gasoline...that's more my style..cuz I can siphon the hell out of a gas tank ::Dif needed of course
Their best-selling stove cartridges are cheaper that the removable ones but since I use it more or less spontaneously I like them better. When I dug it out again some time ago there was an old half-full cartridge which still worked after years.

Yeah, if you plan to use it a lot I would go with that.
Another reason why I use this brand is that most of our local stores sell them and if I decide to use it spontaneously and the cartridge is almost empty, I can directly buy a replacement.
