Appleseed is a marksmanship program that teaches old ww2 style marksmanship and incorporates it with revolutionary war history. The goal of the program is to get people involved in their community and to get out and vote and be involved in politics also. It's a great program look up Appleseed on google. It is in all 50 states of the US (yes including Alaska and Hawaii)

Ah. Thank you. I need to learn how to compensate for velocity drop and windage.

Do you know how MOA adjustments work? Like the math behind them?
Right. One MOA is one inch at 100 yards, and modern scopes are mostly adjustable in 1/2", 1/4" and 1/8" increments. So one inch low at 100 yards would require two clicks up.
One inch low at 200 yards, would need four clicks up, though, because the distance is doubled.
Have I got that about right?

Well how do you expect to shoot zombies at 500 yards when your zero is at 100 yards? it takes a little practice but we can teach you how. Also the home range is in Ramseur, North Carolina. We have 500 yard range with POP UP TARGETS. The only place on the east coast with them!
Ik I was kidding but it is a valuable skill to know the come ups for different ranges. Last weekend I shot a squirrel right in the head with a bolt action 22lr. 40 yards unsupported with a scope. It was actually likely more than 40 yards though. 8-)
