help me price these zippos

Seeing that a basic Zippo runs about $25. Then your pieces you add and the finish you apply. Then your time, I would say closer to the $60-$75 range.

But, that is your work so you need to set the time based on what you think your time is worth. As a pen turner, I know how long it takes to turn a pen start to finish. Something as simple as a maple or oak pen still takes as long as a ebony or padauk pen it just looks less expensive so I usually price accordingly.

Oh lord no I buy from other much cheaper sources! What do you think of them Q?

Oh actually ...I was lookin at becoming a dealer for zippo...if you are thinkin you might do this kinda thing big time...there is an app you can fill out and get basic zippos at a discounted price...having said that I'm not sure if there is a minimum order you have to place I haven't had a chance to dig into that far.
