Evolutionary rather than revolutionary, Benchmade does not have a lot of new product to offer, IMO. Some new variations on existing products are interesting, and the Protagonist looks interesting as a slightly lighter alternative to the Nimravus.
The porn starts on page 14. Everything before that is "philosophy" and knifemaker's parade.
Burnley and Krein continue to make the top of my list from CRKT. The Carson M-series knives soldier on in their various flavors, and CRKT has now expanded their business to include game hoists, pens, flashlights, and an entrenching tool. I'm not sure if they're trying to be Cold Steel ("virtual fixed blade!"), or if they are in danger of diluting their product line by trying to be too diverse. Either way, I'm a little apprehensive about what I see. Time will tell.....

For later, when I accuse TOPS of making their own "folding Izlua", which shall be forever known as the "TOPS BOB Folder". More awkward than folding Izula, but, apparently, no less of a Unicorn.

So Spartan knives does it again. An amazing looking hard use tactical knife designed by Bill Harsey. and priced so high that the only use it will see is sitting inside a safe...
A price point of 425-495 make it a collectors peice at best.
it really sucks that enthusiasts of Harsey's designs have to choose between the Chinese 20$ Gerbers or the $500+ boutique Spartans. Make a knife thats price point is reachable for the people who actually want to buy them.
