What tools do you use to cut/form your scales with? I've got two slabs of Canvas micarta that are just itching to be made into scales for my Tinker....

Just a regular hobby saw and some sanding pads :) I can do those micarta scales for ya :)
There's more of that CompositeCraft carbon fiber I have left :) This time I did something different with it and the pattern came out a bit more vivid - I really like it this way. This thing is really hard to photograph, I just can't capture all the colors you can see in real life...

Nope and don't think I will. First of all it would make the knife as heavy as a rock, and second of all, it would take A LOT of time to shape the scales properly. I've seen someone do a brass set of scales for a 84mm SAK, but they were so thin that the pins were sticking out. He was clever enough to cover the pins in shell cases though...
