I've seen them made large enough for a shotgun and ammo. Never made one, yet, but used PVC for fishing rod cases a few times. It's made to be buried and waterproof, so it will be a great place to stash stuff. I want to start using it to organize a few tings in my bag. FAK in one, fire kit in another.
Oh, and I have a full PDF set on making things out of PVC. Has some great ideas and projects in it. Walking sticks, seed planters, wagons, furniture, etc.
I also know people that bury precious metals on their property. I'm on board with BOBs and Go bags. I can also understand the idea of hiding PMs, but I don't think caches make sense for my small plot of land. I couldn't bury it or dig it up without someone seeing me.
Luckily for me, I have a large plot of land about 2.5 hours out by highway. I'll bury some long storing food next, then place a couple along the way. The in-between caches will be the challenge as far as not my property/being seen. Should be fun though.

See this sort of thing being sold at gun shows: if you feel like its time to start burying your guns then its probably time to get them out cause things are going really badly for you.
Its a neat idea, but I dont, personally, see it as useful to me.
The most convincing thing for me was the roughly $30 I would spend on the whole deal (just this one) and have something stashed and hidden at BOL #1. Of course the next project I would love to take on is a cargo trailer of some sort that I fix up as a livable space and leave at the old home site and can visit frequently and actually stay a couple days. Not there yet though.
Unsure really. Kinda like buying insurance. Why do we have it? Just in case, I guess. A little home made insurance and peace of mind for little out of pocket and a hobby-like project gives me something to do

Because Im forced to by our government, which I dont agree with.
Health, life, car, home? I assume you are referring to health insurance. I'd be fine if they allowed insurance opt outs, but I'd insist on a la cart medical pricing and for anything but immediate life saving care, you need proof of financial viability to receive care.
Bust your finger: Here's the price for an initial Dr visit - $x X-ray to confirm - $x Ortho specialist - $x Supplies (splint, gauze, tape) - $x
If a medical Dr writes a base level course of action and you decide to not follow the outline, any related disability from neglecting care, would disqualify you from seeking a disability claim with Social security.
