I got my Hoplite back from Jeff today. I really didn't expect to do everything I asked of him, I really expect him to do anything since the knife was great already. He just took it to the next level though that's for sure.
1) Opened up the scale choil on the presentation side. I mentioned it to him and he said that he had been thinking about trying it so mine got to be the one he tested it on.
2) Re-stonewashed the scale.
3) Adjusted the detent ball depth on the lock bar. It was pretty smooth before but wasn't wearing in like my other one so he said would work his magic.
I miss playing paintball I used to do it all the time out in the woods by my house or my friends. Also had a paintball field not to far from us. My first marker was a cheap pump action one than I got a model 98, than I got my Smart Parts Nerve.
matt christensen cknives did it for me. He changed up the scales for me, added GTC bearings, moded the detent, redid the blade for me. He did a awesome job on it I think at least.
