I usually carry between 10 to 16 keys at a time. I need something that can help me organize them while being low profile. I carry my keys on a Nite-ize S-biner at the moment. Needless to say, it's quite cumbersome. I don't want the Keybar as it's not wide enough to accommodate all my keys. So I'm reaching out to you guys to help me. I've seen some designs out there, but can't seem to find them by googling. (go figure) Anything helps. Thanks!
Being mod of EDCS is like being a principle of a home school or the governor of Nebraska. - Roy He's like a stray cat. You have to put your hand out and wait for him to come, then you lop the balls off and declaw the motherfucker. - Max
Or buy two of these, or carry less keys and buy one.

Are all your keys related? Are some for car? Work? Different parts of work? Whatever you choose I would think it best to split them into different sets somehow, even if you still carry all of them. You could then maybe use a suspension hook with one set of keys on a shorter chain/paracord/string and one on a longer chain/paracord/string so they would fit into you pocket easier. Maybe different length A&P key cables. Or keep some in your pocket and some on one of those spring loaded cords (lately having the fancy ass name of gear retractors). Just my $0.02.
7 for my main house. 4 for my first rental property. 2 for my second rental property. and my car keys i keep separately. So I have 13 keys on me at any given time. I could keep the rental property keys in my truck. That means I'd have 7 keys on me.
Personally...... I'd get a lockable key box, bolt it in your truck somewhere and keep the rental keys in it (as you suggested). About the seven (7 for the dwarf lords in their halls of stone.. sorry, LOTR nod there).. Do you really, really need to carry all those? Why not hide the ones you need after you get into the house? Do you abduct people and keep them in cells? ( I swore I wouldn't ask, but 7?!!) OK, I'm calm. They're your keys you carry them how you want. . I'd be tempted to drill them and put a bolt or a shackle through them. There are special EDC things (I.e. expensive) that will let you put keys together like that, Cornys got one from BAMtactical but I can't be arsed to find the link.
! I like being secure. the rental keys are no big deal. I do consider my home my castle! But no, there are no cells anywhere and I don't keep gimps. I have 3 for the front: front gate, outer front door, inner front door. Then side gate. Then rear alley gate. Then 2 for the rear; outer read door and inner rear door. That's about it.
I've seen some curious devices, but some are upwards of $50 which is absurd to me! i'd rather MAKE one. Idk. I just thought I could use something simple like the keybar, but that's too small and too expensive.
You're right, the keybar looks good. So... you need two pieces of metal plate and two bolts. And probably a spacer (7 keys one end, 6 keys and spacer on the other). You could try cutting down a metal ruler, or go organic and use wood (washers would help guard against wear). I like it, I think I'll make one!
Got myself these. Got the claw fob for my car keys and the foldover for the rest. Looks nice and they have several different length posts to accommodate several number of keys. That being said, I don't think this could fit 16 keys still O_o

I finally decided to make my own. Everything is aluminum to make it as light as possible. Scales are camo aluminum. Washers are aluminum. Pivots are T9 hex and aluminum. I was able to fit my main keys and fit 4 tools as well. I'm VERY happy with it.
