Yes, I have one in my shop that weighs about 5 kilos, or something like 10 pounds. I'll snap pics in the morning. We call it "the teacher" because it quickly teaches you not to fuck with it unless you can handle it
OMG, I didn't know this was going to be a pissing contest. For Pete's sake, I was only referring to Estwing framing hammers. We have a crane mounted pile driver at work, if any of you poo turds can that, well, then I just guess I'm a sissyboy.

Sledge hammers? Yes please. At the Battle of Agincourt, when the French knights (who had ridden over their own footsoldiers) having had their horses decimated by English ( and Welsh) bowmen, walked up the slope in full armour to be met by said bowmen with their backup weapon.. A war hammer, basically a sledge hammer, which proved to be very effective against tired knights in armour. Messy. Must have sounded like a blacksmiths convention.
Trivia. IIRC. The French had threatened to cut the bowmen's index and middle fingers off (used to pull the bowstring) so after the battle they waved their fingers at the French to prove they still had them. Hence, the V sign, the British version of the US 'finger' (which has its origin in Ancient Greece, I believe).

I was just looking for discouragement.
