Thinking about taking apart the PM2 I just bought off another forum. Watched a couple youtube videos on such, but I'm wondering if any of y'all have done this. Seems the biggest potential problem, in complete disassembly, is pressing the lanyard tube back in place. I probably won't do this, but just in case I loose my mind in the heat of battle, how easy/hard is it to get it back in place?
I've done it. Its not hard at all. At least mine wasn't. It came out of one side and I just pressed it back in When I put it back together. I am by no means some knife expert. I think the Para2 was the first knife I had ever taken apart and it worked out.
Whats wrong with yours? Just cleaning it? Good luck :)
Mine had a very sticky action (you could HEAR it squeak) when opening. Took apart, wiped down, re-assembled in about ten minutes. Opens like butter now, and zero hassle.
