Chong seen a paracord bowl on the UG and said there was a wait for them. So, me being from a crafty family, I asked my mom how hard it is to crochet a paracord bowl.
100 feet of cord.
Apparently, if you know how to crochet, not hard. The cord is stiff and you need a big hook, but I watched her make the big one start to finish in less than 2 hours.
I have both if anyone wants them. I prefer my wooden ones, but, I may end up with a 50 footer to keep on the counter. In my opinion, 75 feet would be about perfect for what I carry.
With that, more pics.
Boker Kwaiken Wilder Forge. Damn thing didn't save right.
Side by side
Both together. Doesn't fit tight, but wasn't made to be a lid.

Sorry, just noticed the picture. Wasn't my Kwaiken. Its the Wilder. I want to do a horizontal belt carry for my Kwaiken, though.
Should work with any type of cordage. I'll look around for a tutorial. She does them so damn quick it's not funny. 100' of cord was gone in under an hour.
I think I'm gonna pass after checking out that video
When I was 9 or so we got a female crafts-teacher in school & she wanted us to learn how to knit & crochet. The first thing we started with was small duck just to get the hang of it (crochet) before we moved on to to something more complicated. I was the only one in class that took 2 hours a week for a year and a half to finish that damned thing!!!
Every time I'd finished like half an inch or so & showed it to the teacher it turned out to be wrong & she took it out & made me do it over again. I don't think this is for me...
Still great looking bowls though, good luck with the sale!
