Better...umm but I'm from the south, if it's good on it's own we're either gona cover it in butter or figure out a way to deep fry it. cookie and maybe serve it with something extremely sweet...like my coffee
Alright, thanks for the heads-up. I better try these out in one of the more northern states then
And an updated photo of my collection as it is
That LED Lenser was a pain in the ass to set upright btw, don't be surprised if my next update will be with the lights laying down ::)
First impression of the S10 is very good. For some reason it looks much fatter in photos then it really is, or at least to me. It does take a little bit of getting used to having to keep the button pressed in to switch modes though, I need a little more playtime with it before I decide on getting a polished titanium one as well.

Tell me more about the S10 UI. You have to push and hold the button?

Just a quick click turns it on, and another one turns it off again. When it's turned on you have to keep the button pressed to switch to the next mode, but if you hold it down it will cycle through all modes so you have to let it go as soon as you reached the mode you want to use. If you keep the button pressed when it's off for a second or two it'll start in moonglow mode instead of low, but it has a memory mode too so it'll always comes on in the mode you last used before turning it off, this includes moonglow mode.
I think thats it :quix:
edit: nope, there's a strobe too. When turned on click the button twice & it will activate the strobe. Also, the modes go from low-med-hi-med-low when cycling through them. Ok, I think I covered everything now.

I don't have a verdict yet, I may just get used to it & there is a lot to like about this light otherwise. I don't really like twisties personally, except for their size. I should stop buying them altogether, but some lights are just so pretty that I keep making exceptions
I just wanted to add that I'm completely in love with my S10 already.
This light is like coming home to me really. In hindsight I so made the wrong choice when choosing the D25C Clicky as my first CR123 light, it was going between these two originally over six months ago & I might not even have become a flashlight nut if I had just started with this one. We'll never know I guess. I took off the pocket clip just because it feels nicer in the hand this way, it's so tiny & smooth now.
Thanks for this wonderful little light, Olight <3
Now, who knows where I can find a polished titanium one without a green tint in the EU?

I really like the Cu lights. It's like one stepped through a shrink ray. You need a CR123.

Thanks, ever since I got the cu aaa I've barely carried the AA. I've considered cr123s in the past, especially the cu model, but I just prefer the convenience of a AAA or AA battery. Performance wise a AAA is all I need, so a AA light is usually more than enough. Id love to get the Cu cr123 to sort of "complete the collection, but there's a cu AA clicky model that is calling my name!
edit: didnt see Q's post, but yeah that's it! I pretty much need one of those ASAP. Haha

I don't like the Cu CR123. It's ugly. I carry the AAA as my backup. Part cool factor, part performance.
