The pictures make it look like it just chills with you checking stuff out.
Nope he just sits there. Some times he'll jump around, but it's usually one jump and generally while walking with him. Once he's on the perch, he's chill.
Read a story once about a pet store owner that would sit one on the register all fucking day. He would just watch people and they wouldn't even know he was real.

Agalychnis Callidryas. The Red-Eyed Tree Frog. Nocturnal, completely motionless during the day. They croak on occasion at night. They are slow and calculating when moving. The jump and gobble crickets and other bugs. The eyes are red to startle predators.

Thats awesome. What kind of habitat/aquarium is he in? are they easy to take care of?
Since i was around 10 or so i liked reptiles a lot. I have had a few pythons, a corn snake, garter snake, ringneck snake, and a milk snake and at one time i had an iguana. I also had a few african dwarf frogs.
I stopped keeping snakes after one of my pythons bit my finger and ripped the skin off my knuckle. Still got a nice scar from that bastard. He wasnt hungry, he had 2 mice a couple days before, he was just MEAN!! But the first year i had him he was awesome, he loved to be out the cage and be held, but after he bit me, all he wanted to do was bite me. Every time i tried to get him after that day he just tried to strike at me while opening the cage.
He went to a guy that wanted a snake just as a decoration LMAO, he built an amazing habitat for him and never had to touch him, he had a feeding door, water door, everything, even a false type bottom to clean the cage. He said he loved how they look but was afraid to touch them. I told him this one turned aggressive but he didnt care because he never planned to hold him. That cage was HUGE, like 6 foot high and 10 feet long, FOR JUST 1 BALL PYTHON!!! It took up an entire wall, but that was his point, he was using it like art in his house But it did indeed look wonderful and it made his living room look pretty sweet.
See, frogs I kinda understand, but snakes... Why'd you wanna keep something in your house than can kill you? I mean you're already married, you're just doubling your chances of death

RETF require moderate humidity and moderate temps. I have a lot of water and live plants. Here is an old pic of the enclosure.
A small heat lamp during the day and maybe a night time one for the winter. 70°F and 70% humidity. The real plants and water handle that with zero work. Dump a few crickets in every week and you're fine. They are pretty bleh pets though. The are asleep all the time. It makes it super cool when you see them awake in the middle of the night. They are also good for "Where's Waldo" hunts.
They cost $50 for adults and $25 for babies. This was 6-7 years ago. Get captive bred if you decide to go that route and stay away for chain pet stores. Wild caught are the other variety, but they will have parasites and disease. I think there are still monthly Herp shows in Havre de Grace. That is a good place to look, but they seldom have babies. I got real lucky with mine. The price was great and he had a shit ton of them.
I hear they are easy to breed, but I'm not into that.
I agree about the tank itself being art. It is a lot of fun building a small ecosystem. I had mushrooms growing and sometimes grass from whatever the crickets brought it. It was pretty cool.

Some more.
Some fancy moss I played with early on. It didn't work out. I was hoping it would act as a way for crickets not to drown, but they'd just get stuck and drown.
Trying to grow a mustache or just ate a mouse. I can't remember.
Here are some OLD pics.
