I got my Sunwayman Mr. Elfin M11r today. I like it so far. My biggest concern was the magnetic ring. On a scale of 1-10, 1 being loose and 10 being tight, the ring is a 4. It's pretty easy to turn and I'll have to see how it goes with it coming on in the pocket. Here are some pics compared to my trusty Jetbeam BC10. The main reason I was looking for another light, was a low light mode. The M11r says it's 4 lumen. That's low enough for me. The Nano has 10 lumen and that's pretty bright for night eyes.
It's smaller than the BC10, but I don't really care one way or another. I didn't mind the size of the BC10 so it was a non-factory.
The M11r has a XM-L LED. Another non-factor for me. The XP-G in the BC10 was fine. I really have no idea about the differences XM-L and XP-G so whatever.
The Ti clip on the M11r is relatively weak. I have to double check the screws holding it in, but it slides on/off a pocket a lot easier than the BC10. It is also deep pocket and yes you guessed it, a non-factor. I hear a lot of bad things about the clip on the BC10. While the pic below has an RRT0 clip on the BC10, the bit hanging out of the pocket never gave me trouble. I'll have to see if the deep pocket carry on the M11r gives me trouble drawing it from my pocket.
I really like the I, II, III on the cotrol ring. If the ring was stiffer, it would be perfect. It also doesn't have that terrible ramp-up/delay start that the V11r has. Maybe if I add a clicky from the V11r, the ramp start problem will return.
Cool pic of the reflector and LED on the 4 lumen low (I) setting.

^ Answering a couple points above. I removed the screws and bent the Ti clip a little. while touching the flashlight housing, it still isn't snug. If I were on a roller coaster I think it would come out.
Also, the screw heads are a little higher than the rest of the tail. It will tail stand easily enough though and frankly I don't think I tail stand enough for it to be a big deal anyway. Just a comment on the fit and finish. It's a little off in that area.

I wrapped the light with blue painters tape first so everything would come off easy. Duct tape can leave a residue.
Here is the bottom of the reflector section. There is a loose washer/o-ring so be careful you don't lose it.
It looks like it was held on with blue loc-tite. It certainly wasn't red.
Here is the body of the light with the ring removed. Notice the unfinished aluminum peaking out. Also notice the notch at the top of the shiny aluminum ring. This is the stop for the control ring.
Here is the control ring. The shiny piece at 5 o'clock is the control magnet. The piece at 4 o'clock in the spring. There is a ball detent under the spring. The ball detent is used to set the position of the Low-Med-High (I,II,III).
Here is the underside of the control ring with the ball detent.
Here is a top view of the mating portion of the control ring. You can see the stop at 9 o'clock and you can see the detent holes that the ball will set in.
I wiped away the light oil that was under the control ring and replaced it with Green Grease (an automotive super tacky grease). I added a small piece of plastic in the spring hole to add more tension to the ball detent.
After all the mods, on the same 1-10, the ring was a looseness 4. Now I'd rate it at 6. I'd rate the V11r as a looseness 6 too.
If you go this route, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SEVERAL LAYERS OF DUCT TAPE SO THE PLIERS TEETH DON'T GET TO THE ANODIZED BODY.

Nice job bud. Is it better now? How do you like it?
It's better. A little stiffer. The detent could still be better, but I've realized I'm very hard on flashlights. I can live with it now. I do have my eyes on a NLGI grade 4 grease (frozen yogurt). The Green Grease while tacky is still only a Grade 2 (peanut butter). Here is a cool chart I found while hunting.
000 - fluid - cooking oil 00 - semi fluid - apple sauce 0 - very soft - brown mustard 1 - soft - tomato paste 2 - "normal" grease - peanut butter 3 - firm - vegetable shortening 4 - very firm - frozen yogurt 5 - hard - smooth pate 6 - very hard - cheddar cheese
I'll try a thicker grease and when I have it apart again I'll look at the detent system to see if I can tweak it better.

Here's a new pic with the M11R.
And my new EDC coin. It has a beaver on it. Canada is insane. We have monuments, they have wildlife.
