No problem, BOOM. Why buy ir again when you can just rescale the one you have. Desert Ironwood is my vote. A book marked set of exhibition grade scales.
I've actually send an inquiry about re-handling it to Jason Wilder too a while ago, but I haven't heard back from him still. But I rather keep it in Europe anyway because I don't wanna pay taxes over it a second time when it enters my country again on the way back, not to mention the time it would save on shipping.
I do like Ironwood, it looks great on the Spydie Puukko and it's suppose to be really tough, but I kinda have my mind set on a nice burl, preferably spalted as well. I can get some spalted curly birch from Brisa, but I found some crazy colored stabilized Amboyna Burl at a local shop too.

My Grail is a Custom Burchtree! Any one will do! I recently scored a Burchtree Mid Tech V2 and it is absolutely amazing! The super early lockup, the attention to detail and the general fit, finish, and feel is better than many of the full customs I own by other makers! I really must own a Custom Burchtree because if it is truly more impressive than my V2 Mid Tech by him I cannot rest until one is in my hand!! :)

The only knife I really ever considered a grail was my Druid that was something I dreamed about when all I had was a Sog and a spyderco . You can tell it's been a lil while since than, the knife lived up to the hype also.
