Been using the Samsung Galaxy Nexus on VZW for the last year, give or take. Rooted it the day I got it. Before that I used the hell out of the original HTC Incredible. Wife is using it right now. She got tired of phones dying and mine just wouldn't so she asked me to activate it on her line. Wish I would have gone with something other than the GNex. It's an ok phone, just not a lot of ROMs for it and it was a bit of a pain to root. Same with the original Galaxy Tab. Had to take it back to bone stock. Need to root the tablet again.
I still use my first gen (2010) 7" Galaxy Tab & an old Motorola V3i when I'm traveling light. No case for the Motorola & just a neoprene thingie plus something that covers the back & has a fold out stand for the Tab.
The Galaxy tab is nice. Just wish it had a newer version of Android is all. 2.3.5 is way outdated. :) I still use it all the time. iTranslate gets used almost daily.

galaxy s5, rooted, flashed. Tempered glass screen protector, one of several cases at all times since its a rather flimsy phone. currently a spigen neo hybrid
i used to have a cover for my phone for few months, but then i got tired of it it feels much better in the hand like that there are some cons to it though 1. much higher chance of cracking the screen 2. the finish on the phone is very smooth so from time to time it can easily slide out of your hands
