It seems like a good idea to have along some OTC pain pills.
The problem is that these things have a shelf life.
I've seen really organized kits, by really organized people, who rotate their meds from the pack to the bathroom cabinet so they stay within their "use by" date.
I'm not that organized, and I don't carry any pills.
What about those of you who do? What's your system to keep them fresh?

I just saw this pop up and I'm in a really good mood so I'ma just say it..I don't take pills...however, whisky if drank in large amounts can dull any pain...fresh? keep the lid on :dunno:sorry you can continue now
I EDC ibuprofen in my keychain pill fob. It gets used often enough that I don't need to worry about expo dates. I usually have a blister pack of anti poop medicine (how the fuck do you spell diarea?) In my small boo boo kit but I'm out at the moment, I need to replace that
motion sickness stuff for when I'm going up mountains for camp
Those are the main ones. Sometimes I'll carry other things depending on the season. Small tackle boxes work nicely too. :) Or Altoids Smalls tins.
I rotate through all of my EDC items (perishables - foods, medicines, condiments, etc.) every 6 months, so I'm good. Once in the summer and once in the winter - that keeps everything up to date and I'll be less likely to forget something for the cold season.
(edit) I remember somebody on another forum who got all fancy with the Folca. They had labeled each compartment with the logo of the medication and somewhere had the expiration date. It was pretty awesome. But I can't remember where it was. :(

I bought this little container at the container store that has different squares. Id put the meds in there and on the outside I would sticky the exp date on them. But now the wife has re purposed it for her use..ya know, for the "baby"
Paracetamol Antacid - the older I get, the less bread I can eat Loperamide - so I don't have to spell 'diaeroheiea medicine' Anti-histamine - good for all kinds of allergic reactions
