hey all, sorry to have been so absent recently, new baby dominates all things these days. But in my downtime I was able to get all the GearPulls shipped. I just wanted to touch base real quick to mention they are now available for sale via www.GambleMade.com Also available is the FM1, a mini dangler attachment which will turn your P7 or DTS into a mini GearPull.
One more thing. Check out the update below to see a pic of the Mokume GP I will be giving away to the winner of a photo-contest I'm hatching.

Although I know there are carabiners out there less prone to snagging, there is another issue I have with this carry method; Unless you have some kind of quick release on the items themselves you still need to remove the whole carabiner or at minimum open the gate to retrieve what you need, which becomes a two hand operation, not cool.
You mention how two handed operation is no good...but how can you use only one hand to free these items from your dangler? Seems it would also be a two handed approach with s-biners etc on them

Yes very true. A quick release would be the only way to pull an individual item of the caribiner, or the GP. And the qr on the Biner would be easier to access since it's already on the outside as opposed to in your pocket. I'm trying to design a dangler with qr capability now but hanging length is a stubborn problem. Plus I'm not sure removal is necessary. But it does help with some items, like pens.
In the end I never solved that problem, but in pocket carry is still a better option for me because I don't like to make noise as I walk. Belt loop stability is another persistent prob for biners that danglers don't have. Swivels and quick releases, that's what's next.

Thanks for your thorough reading! G
Im not trying to be a dick, but its crappy to knock other methods for a 'flaw' that your own item has just saying
I can see your point. But in the context of my original post I wasn't being disrespectful to anyone. I don't even think I claimed to have directly solved the problem...actually the problem of one handed retrieval only applies to caribiner carry, or outside pocket carry in general. Since the GP rides in your pocket, two hand operation is a foregone conclusion. One hand has to remove the whole assembly, and then the individual tools get removed (however awkward the attachment method makes it) with the other hand...if that is true, my analogy was flawed to begin with.
