There was an old man who used to live across the street from me when I was a kid. He was a Vietnam vet. Always started trouble with the neighbors.
One time he really got into it with a guy about the parking space in front of his house. They yelled at each other for a while then he pulled out his pistol. The guy who he was arguing with punched him in the eye and he knocked out.

Moral of the story, take old peoples guns away :P
 at least that had a happy ending, that couldnt went way worse
yeah i've learned this lesson already....you also have to take them away without any warning and when they ARENT HOME. thats important too. they're trigger happy i'm sure i'll be the same way. armed and crazy
I don't know what the deal is with firearms, but I got blocked on EDCF because the security labeled it as firearms (not that it matters now). I hope this doesn't screw anything up. I can access USN and they have gun pics.
Back on topic, I got nothing. I want one, but not for self defense or any of the easy excuses. I want an 1869 Schofield replica. I want it because it's cool as shit. Screams character. It's also the closest functional handgun that reminds me of Capt. Malcolm Reynolds pistol.
I also want an over/under sawed off shotgun for the same reason. I'm pretty sure the shotgun would be illegal though.
Here's a pic of the wonderful Schofield.
It's around $800-1000 for a toy. A toy that can kill people, but a toy nonetheless. The bullets are expensive too. I can just imagine going to the range with this guy loaded with black power .45LC rounds. AWESOME. I'll probably wait for the kids to leave before I get it. By then I'll have the money saved.
I always thought he used a LeMat to base his pistol on in Firefly/Serenity. 9 rounds plus a shotgun load in the center.
