Victorinox Waiter, my first time doing a 84mm SAK. Canadian walnut, polished, protected with linseed oil and finished off with some beeswax to protect it in years to come. Of course, toothpick/tweezers slots included :)
This thing is SWEET. The scales fit it perfectly. With the 84mm size and only one layer, it's ultralight. I can't lie, really like the way this came out
After some trial and error, this is what happened. First I tried doing these slots by hand, but it turns out they can be done perfectly by machine, on a lathe. My cousin did this for me, the depth of the slots is identical to the tenth of a millimeter, so there is no way the toothpick or the tweezers fall out of the scales on their own. I'm very happy that I finally got this figured out :)

You are so pro and I have such a hard man crush for you right now
(About Q's package) Willydigger:
"Is it mailed? Did you mail it? Where's the tracking? I'm pretty excited. I hope he cries. Think he'll cry? What a bitch."
"Q is an asshole, but he's so dumb I feel like hugging him all the time."

"I'm waiting for Digiorno to cook. Three meat, stuffed crust. It's not delivery, but no place delivers here. So. "

I really really want to make a tutorial on how to do this entire thing, but the amount of time and energy to do that properly is just enormous and I can't make myself do it :(
I should be ashamed now, but I have no idea what SAK this is. It's 84mm without any backspring tools such as corkscrew or philips driver. The wood is plane wood I mentioned a few posts back, really lovely to sand, shape and carve. Not entirely sure if I like the pattern... But it's not my opinion that matters, it's heading to its owner soon :)
On a completely related note, here's some mighty fine zebra wood I got today for future SAK scale projects :) One piece is enough for one 91mm knife, and there's two types of patterns, one across and one against the grain, I think both will look beautiful, can't wait to try these out.

I didn't like SAKs till just now Brother!! That is AWESOME and I cannot wait to carry it! That's what a knife is supposed to look like!! Thankyou!!!!!!! You Rock!!
Victorinox Scientist with cocobolo for my dear friend Q. This is a pretty rare Vic model so I did my best not to scratch up the liners as I often do (you just don't see it because I buff it out later :P). This wood is beautiful, and that's all I can say. I included all the slots except the pin one, which was a pain in the butt. The pen slot came out really nicely too.

That's awesome! I love the eye in the wood.
