I had an order for five 111mm Hunters recently. I picked up five of these as a bundle locally and one guy randomly asked to take all five - I had to oblige.

Is there a SAK with a cigar cutter on it? If not, maybe there's a few cigar cutters that use scales and may be able to take cigar box scales. A small way to branch out and possibly a bit more money.
If the box is laminate and not sturdy enough, some g-10 backing? Supposing you have some clamps and patience.
There is a 85mm SAK with a cigar cutter, in fact I've rescaled a few. That's what I'll do next, since I have a couple more sides from the cigar box which I can use. To be honest, the wood is crap. Really soft, and definitely just for show. One good drop to a harder surface and they would crack like nothing. Yet somehow, people can't get enough of these - this one was sold before I even finished it...

Any chance you can call up a Serbian sigar shop and get a couple decent boxes cheap or free? No harm asking hey. Unless cigars aren't that popular in your neck of the woods. There's always break-down and import, they don't necessarily have to be whole box shape right? Easier to ship.
I have a friend who has a friend (of course) who goes to Cuba every other month to smuggle in a suitcase full of Cuban cigars. So I get a box for free every now and then
