I've also talked about my effort to analyze MisterS' photo composition style.
I got a good word from MisterS himself, after my first attempt. He described his pocket contents as "functional art".
I had never thought of it that way.
I may not be able to match MisterS' taste, but I did start thinking about making an effort to bring some uniform color to the pocket.
I carry a cheapo Bic, because I very rarely need a source of fire. I have a Zippo, but my needs are so infrequent, that the fluid finds it's way out of the packing before I have a chance to use it!
I would like to find something different, with a stainless steel shell I can stonewash (or get already stonewashed), but it has to be a very shelf-stable way of carrying lighter fluid.
very nice... where did you get these butan gas inlays for the zippos StonePaw? I ordered such one some time ago and then got the message that they´re all sold out... Now I need a new source :)

If you really want something different and do some customizing I recommend looking in to the classic Ronson Varaflames as well. They are build like a tank, solid metal, easy to service and work on, and have a very large tank that holds a lot of gas. You can pick up an old leaky one for 5 bucks on ebay and get some new valves& whatnot & make it look however you like if you're a metal-guy.
Another one I really like to try myself is the Windmill Classic:
But of course you can't go wrong with a Zippo & Z-plus insert neither, here's mine:
