Dang guys, my TiPeN was on Massdrop.com and I forgot to let you all know. Sold out (80 units) in a few hours. I have just a couple left if anyone is interested.

Bam, if I had money I would get one. Never used a FineLiner so it would be a chance to see what the fuss is all about. If you still have any when I get money rolling in, I'll snag one.
Retro51 Elite Tornado on the left and a 30-06 brass twisty on the right. Both can use the Schmidt 635m mini refills. The clip on the brass is one I have had rolling around on my desk and have no clue where it came from. The Retro is a decent option for pocketable pens. Not as much of an attention getter as the brass cartridge, though.

Did you turn anything on the Retro?

No. I got it in a trade for something a couple years ago before I started turning. Been collecting dust since I started turning my own pens. Thought I would see what refill it takes and compare it to the ones in the CC pens and cartridge pens. Same size and everything. You could order the Retro Elite refill from the Retro51 website, but Amazon has the Schmidt 635m around $5 for 6 shipped. Can't beat that for a mini refill. I think it is $5.05 for 6 blue refills.

So you like the Schmidt better than the stock refill? I have a bunch of blue refills and I'm wondering if it's worth it to go to Schmidt.
