Tried a Beretta for size a couple years ago. Good guns for those of us with small hands.
I guess the difference is a single-stack clip versus a double-stack clip. To each his (or her in this case) own, obviously, but I would agree with the general idea that if you need more than eight bullets without reloading, you may have bigger problems.

*Pops a blood vessel*
Which shows you how much I know about guns.
All right, then. Magazine? Case? Box? Bullet holder? Educate me.
Also, any idea why your wife (whoever it was above) doesnt like guns? I dont understand how it is that people in teh north are so against somehting like that. Take her to the range, that might change her mind. Start her on something like a 22 pistol and work up from there. Or an AR22. Looks ike the big boy but no kick or noise of the big brother (not that an AR has much kick anyway, but more than the 22)
My wife is book smart and is from a family that, doesn't hunt, lived near cities in affluent suburban neighborhoods and had quick police response with low crime. She has read the statistics on gun injuries and death and know the likely hood of an accidental shooting goes up if you have a gun in the house. Seeing as I had no weapons before we met, it is not something I can just say, "hey you knew going in".
