Obviously, my wife would be very unhappy if I bought a(nother) knife right now, but that isn't very much motivation.
So I need the help of the forum with the pros and cons of a couple knives. I don't need any of them. With the possible exception of the Ontario, they are all far bigger than I will ever need, and I have two Kukris already, if it comes to needing a big knife.
I should spend the money on raw materials, to make my own.
But that doesn't stop me from wanting.
So here are some links and pictures. Help me out, tell me why not.
First is the Ontario TAK.
With a 4.25" blade, and a cost of around $80.00, this is the only knife I could possibly justify. But I don't like the FFG, and I could make something I would like a little better, for about the same cost.
Next is the "Churi" (which means "knife"), from Khukri House.

The blade is too long, and I don't like the wood handle. But I could wrap it in leather or cotton, and the price is oh-so right.
The rest are pretty much impossible to post pics of. Believe me, I tried. So you'll have to click the links yourself.
A Kukri with a 4" blade. Something unique, but a little big for EDC. But again, the price is right.

This crazy thing is hard to justify, especially at $100. But I really like it.

The Himalayan Bear Claw Knife. Waaaay too big for EDC, and I don't process much wood. I love the look of it, though.

Finally, this.

Nearly as heavy as a camp axe, this beast is almost a short sword. I know I wouldn't need this, but there's always the post apocalypse fantasy justification.
