Look at the alox in this pic, what would you say it is worth?
is it more special because of the older/different logo on it?
Ive been thinking about trying an alox, but dont want to have a 'standard' one from walmart/target etc thought this was neat as it has a different logo on it
The little square plate above the hole signifies it's an older model, my bet is late 80s, but you should really see the number on the main blade. You're quite optimistic there Q, if this is an 80s Soldier, the only way for it to reach that kinda money is if it were mint, unused, with original box and paper. This way it's 80-100$ max if it's an 80s one, and that's on ebay with some motivated bidders
The stuff that sells for really high figures lately:
- anything with old cross (in colors other than silver, fuck me if I know why) - anything with a saw and colored scales - anything with a marlin spike - ribbed 84mm alox

its worth 60 bucks? dang. Right now Im planning to keep it. I like it.
I havent gotten around to getting some of the grime off, but I will this weekend and it'll be used for special events where I dress up (weddings etc).
Again, Im a LM man at heart, but they just arent as classy as the alox kind of SAKs are. The weight, shape, and size are great. The only thing, to me, that would compete for lightweight, classier looking might be a Style LM, theyre small and overall pretty smooth, rounded lines on it.
And the others, I'll clean em up and post them up on here to find out what they are, all three are different IF I were to keep one of those I might have to holler at one of you folks about some custom scales because they're all bad, one is REAL bad, but none are nice
