Max asked for pics of a dagger that I mentioned, so here we go.
The light is a little warmer in this one. Amazing what moving the camera can do.
Gratuitous pose:
Balance point. I guessed at the size and location of the holes to get the balance right, so I was very pleased when I got done.
Also gratuitous. Playing with angles to fill the photo field better.
Yeah, I cheated: it's chisel ground:
I tried a symmetrical bevel dagger once, long ago, and it's going to stay that way. There are mechanical justifications for chisel grinds, especially on, shall we say "special purpose" knives. If you are really fascinated by the subject, you can find information out there. If not, I won't bore you.
you can clearly see it's a chisel from the first pic on did you grind this ? you got skills man that's one sweet grind and the meeting point of the two bevels is almost perfect ! lovely shape
Yep, almost all freehand grinding. I think I had this one waterjetted, to get the holes in the handle right. The bevels were bench grinder, then files, sandpaper, and pain.
I haven't decided exactly what to do with it, yet. I want to bevel the edges of the handle, and offer it for cheap. But to do it right, I should drill a couple screw holes, and put scales on it.
A project for later.....
Edit. Maybe I'll do scales on the flat side, and leave the bevel side bare, just for shits and giggles.

i'm asking cause you could totally drill some holes in the handle, like 3mm holes and get some stainless or brass pins and get a handle on.. i think it would look great with a dark colored handle.. and you could get some good money out of it if you decide to sell it !
