This one didn't turn out how I expected but still looks nice.
This a miniature of the bigger bead I made previously. This only problem with it is the hole isn't that round. Sadly I don't have a small enough boring bar to correct the horrible drill bit's hole.
A lot of people have the mind set that they need a 1/4" dia. hole.... drill it with a 1/4" bit. If you do it in steps (increments) you'll end up with a cleaner job.
Messed up a bead yesterday that I'll try again tomorrow. In the mean time I made a spin top. Its .5" wide and long and I've had it spin for up to 1.5 min on not level glass.
Oh and it's made of 485 leaded naval brass with a 45° bevel
